We feel lonely, sometimes to the point of tears, but we don’t let those tears come because we are not supposed to cry. Or how we feel a surge of love for a partner but we don’t say anything because we’re frozen with the fear of what those words might do to the relationship.

We did some research prior to going and noted that Aura Spa is one of the more value for money spa as per their motto! so we were really excited when we saw the Aura Spa poster at the ferry terminal, we left our baggage at the Nirwana Resort booth to be sent back to the hotel and got the hotel staff to help us call Aura to make appointment. Within 10mins, the Aura staff arrived to fetch us there!
Its 2 pax per room and here's the not very big room!
The hard bed, sarong and towel =)
Each double room is only divided by wall boards so we are not allowed to raise our volume when we speak. bestie and i got told off to keep our voices down =\ As you can see the top part is hollow.
The yummy ginger tea at the end of the spa! We did the Bintan Break spa package which lasted 2hr30mins consisting of Massage, Scrub (my fave part), Suana and Lotion.
The massage is not bad. I've not been a great fan of massages anyway cos i'm super ticklish. The scrub is different from the one I had in BKK, in Bintan, they used Mandi Lulur scrub which has a whitening effect. Then suana was in an high tech cubicle using Infra radiation. The lotion part was a letdown cos its just like us putting lotion on ourselves ||-_- I'd love to have the scrub anytime! Its S$22 for the scrub only and S$60 for the Bintan Break Spa Package we did.
If you patronize the spa, they have free transport to bring you to Pasar Ole Ole which is just 5 mins away!
wishing well in pasar ole ole.
Interesting bird nest! I peeped and there is indeed a bird inside! =)
One of the many handicraft shop. Pasar Ole Ole is such a letdown, there are no locals apart from the shop people and this place is definitely a tourist trap!
We camwhored again and left after buying some tourisy keropok for friends and families back home.
Then we are back to the spa area for lunch/dinner cos they have this Aura Restaurant! The beautiful weather and beautiful sky!
Interesting table mat!
Sweet Corn soup! This is really sweet!
Overfried fries
Spicy seafood beehoon! This is nice! =) I am bias and I love beehoon!
My Ayam Penyet was such a letdown. I tot ayam penyet is an indonesian dish so I had super high expectations of it and sadly the chicken did not come with any crumbs or wot. I prefer Lucky Plaza's Ayam Penyet anytime!
Hotplate tofu! This is really nice! I <3 this dish. I can juz survive on this and plain rice. =)
Beef Horfun. Apparently its not very nice.
Tom Yam soup? We have no idea wot soup this is but it tasted like tom yam soup but again, why is corn in a tom yam soup?
My Icelemon tea!
Their super spicy Teh Halia!
We opted to pay in Rupiah and boy, the Rupiah comes in such huge denominations and we spent quite a bit of time counting the zeros.
After paying, we went to this mama shop across the street to get tibits!
Look at the variety of the coffee powder sachets they have!
