We feel lonely, sometimes to the point of tears, but we don’t let those tears come because we are not supposed to cry. Or how we feel a surge of love for a partner but we don’t say anything because we’re frozen with the fear of what those words might do to the relationship.

When I knew I was going to SH on job, everyone was telling me abt the EXPO and I tot I'd never gt to go, until the client bought tix and treated us to a trip to EXPO =) So here we are on the train in SH!
The MRT tix! Its similar to our MRT card before we had the EZ Link Card.
My colleagues! =) Tho' you cant seem them very well haha.
The train is like direct to the expo area and they have this monitor to show us how many people there are in the EXPO at that point in time! like 400k! omg I felt like fainting when I saw that!
And we finally reached the entrance!
Empty gates. The queues were prob worse before this. I cant imagine.
My entrance tix! =)
And we are in! The expo is actually an exhibition of all the countries in the world, and in each country's pavilion, they have the autonomy to design it in such a way that best represents them! The area is huge and the queue were long so sadly we didnt go to each of the country's pavilion, we only went to 4 and here are some photos of the exterior of some of the rest!
We went into Angola's pavilion cos the queue was rather reasonable, but there was nth much inside. They have their history, culture, trade and a food stall! =)
One is nt allowed to bring filled water bottle into the premise but you are allowed to bring in bottled water. I have no idea why. But here's the bottle fillng area! =)
This i think is USA's pavilion. Super cool! Like needles from a box or sth..
And we queued for Italy's pavilion
A wall filled with greetings at the entrance!
A model of a church.
Pinocchio making in progress! I seriously didnt know pinocchio is italian!
And the girls go wild over this shoes on a shoe!
An impressive band fixture on a wall! check out the drums and the grand piano! That must be some strong nail to fix it there!
An installation of cool designer chairs!
And have you seen such a huge chandelier before?
We also went to the Iceland pavilion which is totally not worth mentioning. We queued 1 hr to watch a 15mins video which I could have watched online.
The other more interesting pavilion is that of spain! Its made up of rattan like material on the outside.
And we almost died when we went in, cos there's this hot spanish girl dancing away and everyone was juz pushing to go forward to see her upskirt moments cos her skirt will swirl as she dance away.
The scariest baby on earth! this 2 storeys tall giant life-like baby that display emotions. The details are so intricate down to the very detail of the prints on the sole even tho' I have no idea how this is representative of spain.
The most talked about pavilion has gotta b the China pavilion, from wot I heard, you have to start queuing at 6am in order to secure a chance to get in, otherwise you can forget abt it =\ but its one of the pavilion that will not be torn down even after the expo ended, so we dont have to kancheong =)
The flags of the world representative of all the pavilions within! =) Its a tiring and hot day indeed!
