We feel lonely, sometimes to the point of tears, but we don’t let those tears come because we are not supposed to cry. Or how we feel a surge of love for a partner but we don’t say anything because we’re frozen with the fear of what those words might do to the relationship.

an alternative food find. joanne, my fellow foodie at work always end up talking abt food during our msn conversations and so she recommended me this spanish restaurant! situated at penang road, i've walked past, stood in front of and sat in front of this place so many times while waiting for dearest 502 to fetch me hm from town when it still services that route and i've never once thought of eating there.
so when she mention the name el toro, i knew immediately where it was. and may is an good month to eat good food. cos everyone's birthday seems to fall in the month of may! gd excuse haha! so the outside of the restaurant! =) they have some pretty good set lunches deal. too bad i dont work ard there.
the menu! typical spanish bull fight, but there's an interesting spanish glossary on the last page to help u decipher their food!
hy, estella and i went on a mon night and it was very quiet so the staff were very attentive, once we sat down, they served this nachos with salsa dip. i was very hungry cos i only had a light lunch so i ate super alot of this. i <3 restaurants tt give starters, but save those peanuts and pickles, i dont eat them..
after poring over the menu for some time, we decided on 2 mains and i appetizer to share b/w the 3 of us so this is our appetizer! some fish thingy. i forgot the exact name but its like fish stir fried in salsa dip. its nt bad. i <3 salsa and we saw another table order the same starter too! =)
my appointed choice, the paella, its quite pricey at $36. but its o-so-worth-the-money. only order when you have at least 2 hungry folks! this portion is HUGE!!! it has all sorts of seafood in there, mussels, scallops, prawn, fish, poultry such as chicken and pork. totally worth every penny! =)
the 2nd dish tt dear estella chose, chicken burrito! their menu is actually quite limited, they have like burrito, pita, quesadilla, tacos but the fillings are only either chicken, beef or veg i think. i is huge. the pan is so longishly unique. its hot, so beware! =)
the inside when its cut opened, rice with hand pulled chicken meat. this was a surprise! its suprisingly super yummy. the chicken meat is super juicy. i mean i've had burrito when taco bell was still alive in sg, and their chicken is dry. but this is o so juicy tt we could eat it on its own. even estella who is so straightforward couldnt stop raving abt the food. she kept saying, this is nice, this is nice whilst she was munching haha. =) definitely a keeper in my list of restaurant!
weird green sauce. i only remember tabasco sauce, so i was pleasantly surprise they have 2 diff hot sauce but none of them is the ol' tabasco sauce tt is overused everywhere. so since the other one looks like tabasco sister, i decided to try out tabasco's cousin! its so green and ppl dont usually associate green with spicy right, but boy i was wrong! i think it shld b tabasco's father! the aftertaste kills and i only tasted like a dot of it at the base of my tongue. such interesting sauce. too bad they dont have bufflo wings, otherwise this will make a good marinade =)
