We feel lonely, sometimes to the point of tears, but we don’t let those tears come because we are not supposed to cry. Or how we feel a surge of love for a partner but we don’t say anything because we’re frozen with the fear of what those words might do to the relationship.

Its been some time since i've been to the science center! I'm not so much into dead bodies and gave the previous exhibition a pass but this season, its PIXAR!!! I <3 animation!
so this is me with this realli cute cutout tt i so wanna bring back home!
Photography is actually disallowed inside so we took all this photos illegally and was caught like twice?! but they are not exactly too strict on it as long as we look apologetic. this cool quote by the director of toy story greeted us when we first enter.
there are 5 short videos in the entrance area of the exhibit and i'm quite surprised i've never seen any! but p recognized some! even the tin man which is actually the inspiration of the toy story we know today! perhaps you would have heard of them too! so we juz sat there and watched all the videos. the character have pretty rigid movements and not so fluid outlines compared to those newer pixar films like UP we see these days. but its like so 复古.
most of them items on display are original artworks by the artist at PIXAR and i'm most impressed with them! their art is o so fantastic compared to the doodling i did back in school! they must seriously have lots of creative juices too!
the more modern digitized artworks. wont it be realli pretty if a hse have such picture framed up as the centerpiece =)
but nothing beats this zoetrope i saw! I went home to wiki it and found out that a zoetrope is a device that produces an illusion of action from a rapid succession of static pictures. and i found the video of the exact (i think) zoetrope i saw in the PIXAR exhibition. and i've attached it below tho the quality of the video is nt fantastic =)
cool eh. it's like one of the ancient forms of entertainment.
cos of the restriction to take photos, those are the few we sneakily capture! there's another video of pixar's work in the exhibition but overall it only took 1hr to complete the exhibition. prob cos i'm nt so much of a graphic artist or computer graphics kinda person. but i think definitely a child will not find it interesting cos i think its catered more to adults.
