We feel lonely, sometimes to the point of tears, but we don’t let those tears come because we are not supposed to cry. Or how we feel a surge of love for a partner but we don’t say anything because we’re frozen with the fear of what those words might do to the relationship.

We ended up at the Jim Thompson house museum which is a short walk away from MBK. If you are under 25 the entrance fee is 50baht, otherwise is 100baht. the entrance fee also cover 1 hour of guide tour =)
Jim Thompson is an american soldier who served in world war 2 and returned to america after the war ended. however he realised that he really like asia so he decided to come back and settle down in thailand!
he build this amazing house using 6 traditional thai houses brought from auttaya; the ancient capital of bangkok. however he went missing while hiking in cameron highlands at age 61 thus his mansion is open to the public and the money donated to charity. =)
This is the typical thailand house.
the inside of the very original house. its really posh inside but no photos are allowed inside =\\
to say the truth, the museum is nt the most exciting place on earth, but theres a jim thompson in singapore too! at dempsey! =) so we walked back to the mall area and had yummy aunt annes! i really like their cinnamon prezels =) we tried their hotdog pretzel for the first time even though it has been ard for so long and it is so yummy!!
got a ride on the tuk tuk! you must really bargain with to get a decent price. but its once in a lifetime experience. you get to experience the fast driving, going through back alleys and fumes from other vehicles.
And heres were we went for dinner! Somboon seafood as recommended by Bijie! there are several singaporean families there as well! we had their signature curry crab but felt that its nt up to par. prob cos its nt the usual crab variety we had in sg =\ the kang kong is yummy tho' they call it morning glory there in thailand. so its stir fried morning glory. i wonder where did the morning glory come from. the steamed fish is fantabulous though, but its too big for 2 pax and we juz had to struggle to even finish it! we ordered oyster omelette to end it off but the oyster omelette is pretty wet. i guess thats how they do it in bkk. =) its S$40 for the whole meal! pretty worth it eh.
we ended our day at suan lim night bazaar where i did my pwetty nails, however prob its mon, alot of stalls are closed! wot a bummer! we went to patpong, the red light district of bkk but we had no balls to go in to watch the tiger show as they are only the 2 of us and the touts looked absolutely aggressive =\
