We feel lonely, sometimes to the point of tears, but we don’t let those tears come because we are not supposed to cry. Or how we feel a surge of love for a partner but we don’t say anything because we’re frozen with the fear of what those words might do to the relationship.
-Mitch Albom
The chirping of the birds in the park in the morning, the splashing of the waves against the breakwater on the beach, the whistling of the kettle of morning coffee are some of the daily sights and sounds we take for granted and pay little attention to as we go about our daily activities.
And amongst us, we have friends who may never have the chance to experience such daily humdrum.
