We feel lonely, sometimes to the point of tears, but we don’t let those tears come because we are not supposed to cry. Or how we feel a surge of love for a partner but we don’t say anything because we’re frozen with the fear of what those words might do to the relationship.

its a journey that i dowan to end Every good weekend starts with an epicurean journey. so i chiong chiong chiong my work on fri and knocked off on the dot!! was aldy quite disappointed with myself cos i tot i could leave the ofc b4 5 =\ so this was where i went! its been opened for some time already and several magazines, papers have wrote good reviews about it. It's big in japan and ny, even sarah jessica parker has to get into the queue to eat it!
p and i dropped by the restaurant at ard 6ish and cos there were only 2 of us, we were bumped ahead of the queue really fast! those in 3 or more however have to wait til every member has arrive before they can be seated. but the good part is that there is a communal waiting table where one can order small sides while waiting for ur seat, albeit standing up.
a peak at the interior of the restaurant. its rather dim. but i <3 the chandeliers. i waited til the couple nxt to us to leave and sneaked a pix of the restaurant. its nt v big. and we are hungry aldy! yummy food here i come! akadeshi tofu. i have either this or chawamushi at each jap restaurant i go! cream cheese on toast. its sth unique so we ordered this. the cream cheese tasted like the same cheese used in breadtalk's cranberry cheese bun. but the black dot thingy in the middle is some sweet kidney bean or sth. so the combi is actually v yummy. its more dessertish in my opinion than appetizer. P's Kyushu Miso Tonkotsu Ramen. I tasted his after I tasted mine so i found it rather bland. He however loved it and drank every single drop of the soup. Mine Akamaru Chashu ramen. and now you can understand why i found his bland. mine is so flavourful! i can totally imagine those pork bones being cooked for hours and hours. so this is what heaven is like =) we were actually stuffed to the brim with the 2 sides and 2 ramen, but i forgot to take a pix of the menu initially so we ordered dessert as an excuse to look at the menu again. so this is yuzu shebert. i love yuzu or anything citrusy for that matter! so this is the menu. although the restaurant is situated at a v atas place the price is actually v affordable which explains why the queue was mad long when we came out while other restaurants on that level are near empty. i wanna go bk there again already!
