We feel lonely, sometimes to the point of tears, but we don’t let those tears come because we are not supposed to cry. Or how we feel a surge of love for a partner but we don’t say anything because we’re frozen with the fear of what those words might do to the relationship.

went to watch this play last fri. rushed like mad from work. its my virgin chinese play experience but that play is really really good, never have i enjoyed another play better than this before so its all worth it. i've never heard of the actors and actress cep ariel lin, but they certainly impressed me! they protrayed all the characters really well. the whole play was farni and there were also elements of our country added to it (ie that part where the female lead's accent was supposed to be more perfect than Zhang hai jie). i think some content is twisted according to each country where the play is being presented, and i think it showed their effort! Imagine them having to rememorize the script again. omg. i loved the contrasting examples and everything, from the actors/actresses the expressions the plot the props the script the music. the plot was truly reflective of today's society. i am sure i was not the only one left reflecting at the end of the day, there were many things that the play reminded us of and explored the differences in gender roles today. it was touching towards the end where the actors/actresses introduced themselves and gave their thank you speeches individually. and i actually teared towards the end when the respective lead recounted the story of their childhood.
and i realli enjoyed the encore song they presented! here's the clip from other legs of their performances.
