We feel lonely, sometimes to the point of tears, but we don’t let those tears come because we are not supposed to cry. Or how we feel a surge of love for a partner but we don’t say anything because we’re frozen with the fear of what those words might do to the relationship.

finally found some time to change the blog skin cos the prev one was pretty corrupted. it was so hard to find simple blog skins with plenty of space for words instead of wot nt. nt 100% pleased with this. but its the best i could do now =)
and this is the mooncake month. so we bought gdwdpk pomelo mooncake cos i love pomelo. it was oh so disappointed. it was sold out at the taka food fair when me n p were there so when we saw tt they still have stock at ps we quickly grabbed it. but its juz nt my cup of tea. upon recommendations by kunnie we also bot this 717 durian mooncake. omg its the love! there were 9 in one box and it was polished in days before i even noticed it was gone. poor me =( i didnt gt to have any. p and i also signed up for mooncake making course and the rest are the mooncakes at the lesson. we made this teochew orh nee mooncake. i never realli tasted it before cos i totally abhor mooncake cos of the pastey texture. no redbean/greenbean/lotue or wot not for me. but when i tasted the orhnee mooncake the teacher taught us, i was a convert! omg! it simply melts in the mouth! the other variety we learnt was similar to the tau sa piah style and she used plain o' lotus. it was great nonetheless but nth beat orhnee mooncake!
Kim's seafood. I saw this on someone's blog so me chiew nic n p decided to give it a try. we ordered 3 dishes to share among us. the XO hokkien fried mee was super duper yummy. it came with this oh so big oysters which i didnt dare to eat but the guys seem to have orgasmic reactions to it. the tofu was realli unique cos its like blended with seafood or sth so its nt the smooth tofu that we are used to eating and i totally love their broccoli! yummy! it was apparently featured on tv last wk too!
not for the weak hearted so happily we walked along the nostalgic joochiat district. *my first time there* passing by all the yummy food which by now were all closed. i.e kim choo dumplings. we settled on this classy looking durian place. Durian Lingers. hmm.. nice name and its air conditioned. *thumbs up* so all of us went in and left the guys to decide wot to gt. the durian tasted fantabulous. its not watery at all and was real solid. tho it tended to be slightly on the drier side. but the bill was wot shocked us. it costed $109 for 2 mao shan wang!! and there were 22 seeds which translates to $5 per piece of durian we ate. horror of horrors. alas it was a fun experience! realli friendly and menacing looking durian uncle. =)
Other random photos for sept. my fave buy from the bakery. its actually scraps of cake the cut off so as to make the cake look prettay. so all these scraps, some bakery actually sell it off and this is so much for onli $1! totally loving the chocolate fudge./ margaret dr chicken rice. still as crowded as ever on a hot hot sunday afternoon. /F1 night race in sg! the cam is rather bad so all it could capture were ant like heads/ chinatown mooncake festival lights!
