We feel lonely, sometimes to the point of tears, but we don’t let those tears come because we are not supposed to cry. Or how we feel a surge of love for a partner but we don’t say anything because we’re frozen with the fear of what those words might do to the relationship.

Definitely one of the weekend market recommended is the Satok weekend market. It begins ard noon on sat and ends by noon on sunday =) so after the walking ard all the buildings in town, we went bk to our hostel, freshen up and headed over to Satok on cab! walking will take us approx 15 mins from town but we were lazy.
kueh kueh corner <3
Animal part of the market. somewhat like JJ mkt in BKK.
And the sell fresh veggie, poultry, fish, fruits!
A very interesting stall selling magazines without the cover, it was simply written on the contents page the magazine title and the issue. so the curious us, asked the shop uncle and he told us they were old issues and thus, they are not authorized to sell them in the full version =)
It was drizzling that evening, so we had a hard time walking in the market. The market though is not as big as JJ Mkt, it is at least 1/3 of it and we kinda got lost at some parts =) you prob wont buy much stuff from the weekend market but its really very much for the locals =) we headed to the foodie part of the market after tt and saw a cute little boy bbq-ing satay =)
super yummy bbq chicken fillets
but we settled on KFC in the end cos of the wet weather and there arent alot of dry seats ard =) we had this combi meal with chicken + prawn! yummy! KFC overseas is always much yummier than sg=)
We were really fortunate that we spotted a cab after our meal and we promptly hopped on and headed to the Kuching Food Festival! It was a coincidence that they have such a food festival and we were inform by the super updated taxi uncle who fetched us from the airport =)
Its two rows of tents with the best food in Kuching and the seats are all in the middle so you can order from any stall!
We bought the Orh Jian, but it sux. cos my fave part of orh jian is actually the flour thingy but this is the pure egg+oyster version. no chili too =(
Interesting bamboo rice. this is really yummy cos the bamboo taste totally infused into the rice.
Multi flavoured Muachee. we mixed mango + Macha. Interesting but weird. great idea to bring into sg =)
We ate so much til we decided we shld stay away from the food area and we headed to the funfair part! Damn ol'skool
We tried the darts game but we didnt know how to play and didnt win anything in the end. boohoo.
Another cool looking building and the all so famous cat statue!
