We feel lonely, sometimes to the point of tears, but we don’t let those tears come because we are not supposed to cry. Or how we feel a surge of love for a partner but we don’t say anything because we’re frozen with the fear of what those words might do to the relationship.

I've heard about this restaurant for some time already but i haven't got around to visiting it.
the outside. Clifford otherwise known as Red Lamp pier. I been there once when I was still a kid and my impression of it is very hazy. I only remembered that it was very crowded and that I was with my grandmama. I was so afraid i'd lose sight of her.
This history of the place. it was opened in 1933! Almost 100 years old.
The pretty interior. The place is realli spacious and can sit up to 2000 people for function.
The nostalgic mode of the camera. I really suits the atmosphere of this place.
There's no need to make reservation on usual days unless there's an event going on cos the place is really very big indeed. The matching porcelainware. I love matching sets.
The regular menu. the cover is made of hard wood again! is it a common practise for atas restaurant to have their menu cover made of wood?
The fonts they used for the menu reminds me of kungfu show where the ppl went on roadtrips and stop at those teahuts in the middle of nowhere and i always imagine tt's how the fonts would look like if its in english haha.
Our teapot! *pretty* I wanted Pu-er but they dont have ||-_- so we settled for Gui-hua as recommended. Its not bad too. I've never drank warm guihua before. The ones i had are heaven & earth version so its refreshing.
The cool to the boot teacup. cos there was no normal cups on the table, i had guess this minibowl like thing is the teacup, but we were afraid of embarrassing ourselves so P and I waited for the waitress to serve us the tea. I truely felt like i am in those epic movie when I was holding the bowl/cup for a sip.
The appetizer. Really modern setting. Pork in a martini glass?! It has some trouble balancing on the place such that i tot it was gonna topple over when the waitress was walking with it when she was serving us.
The pork slices in the martini glass. I'm not a big fan of this cos i dont fancy cold pork. It didnt taste too bad tho cos there's a unique dip at the bottom of the glass, never the less its nt my cup of martini.
asapragus! one of the veggies i <3 to eat! The sesame seed made it super fragrant! nom nom.
The 2nd course was the soup, served in those pots u see in those epic movies too. but i forgot to take a pix of it. argh.
It was full of fantabulous ingredients, REAL crabmeat, fresh scallop, dried scallop. I <3 this soup. My grandma will definitely approve =) A good alternative to sharksfin cos i dont drink sharksfin soup.
The good thing about this restaurant is that they offered 2 main course for the patrons to choose from!. This blackpeppercorn fish is mine. Its crispy on the outside yet yummy on the inside! And the fish slices are thick and fresh too! <3
P's chicken. I forgot the exact name to it but its roasted chicken, we are not sure if those dried leaves are edible or if they are for deco purposes only so we left them alone, but there's they yummy brown sauce in the wooden jar. This is yums! cos i was bz concentration on my fish, i only lifted my head to try p's chicken when i am almost done so i'm surprised its still very crispy on the outside!
Fried Rice. o wells rice is a staple for chinese, wot would we do w/o it? so it may look tastless and pale but its yummy. I finished the whole bowl of rice, every single grain of it! =) i'll definitely bring my parents n granny there when i gt my bonus!
