We feel lonely, sometimes to the point of tears, but we don’t let those tears come because we are not supposed to cry. Or how we feel a surge of love for a partner but we don’t say anything because we’re frozen with the fear of what those words might do to the relationship.

ahh... i'm backkkkk in singapore since yesterday afternoon. it feels so gd to b at hm. this trip project rebuilding life at khao lak, thailand was super duper meaningful. i feel that i'm so so priviledge. i have a bag that is not torn and i have pens pencils etc everything. i have my parents and a good education. i learnt that heater is not a necessity and i can still sleep with holey blanket. i learnt how to tahan 5 days of the same seafood fried rice. i learnt how to b contented like the kids in thailand. i miss the burmese kids!!! they are so wonderful and simple children. their parents perished on that fateful day last yr in the tsunami and those who survive have to face raiding by the police as they are illegal immigrants from burma. and they still can b so happy. yet in singapore we are all so spoilt. we want stuff like psp when kids over there cant even afford a socks with no holes. basically the past few days have bn pretty eventful and difficult to put into words, but it remains etched in my memory 4eva. i dug trenches, sandpapered the wall, painted door frames, did wiring for the foundation for the buildings etc. i'll go bk soon! photos coming up!
