We feel lonely, sometimes to the point of tears, but we don’t let those tears come because we are not supposed to cry. Or how we feel a surge of love for a partner but we don’t say anything because we’re frozen with the fear of what those words might do to the relationship.

i tried to blog yesterday but i couldnt log on and i dunno y. so i shall try to recall wot i wanted to blog yesterday. our local papers straits times is 160 years old!!! tt's very long considering singapore is only 40 years old. so they have all the celebration like $1.60 to watch fantastic four at cathay cineplex at orchard. so thinking it was fri, me and my bf decided to go down n try our luck. anyway we thought tt the cinema starts operation at 10+ so we reached ard 1115. lo and behold. the tickets were sold out. and since i have free coupons for pop corn, i was just sitting there eating my popcorn n i noticed tt even until 2+ hopefuls could b seen staring at the movie timing screens tearing our their coupons. well, i seemed to have underestimated singaporeans. and of course i shall not attempt to try my luck over the weekends. so my mom an avid reader of the straits times decided to participate in the mazda draw. so bryan and i spent the whole of last night going thru the stack of papers looking for the 35alphabets neatly hidden among the forest of words. we the riddle goes ' where the sun rises by the sea, from seven to eleven, ronald eyes a perfect game ' and boy they have to hold the thing at east coast where the 2 lane traffic never fail to jam even on normal weekend. so i grudgingly dragged myself out of bed despite the nice cool weather to accompany my folks to ecp. not surprisingly we didnt win the car. but wot shocked me was the huge turnout. and 99.99999999% of the ppl came in cars trying to win a car. there were also 10 consolation prized consisting of $160 cash. and when they were reading the names of the ppl and their address, the people stay in places like hazel park terrace etc. so it shows how much singaporeans (me included) love free gift.
