We feel lonely, sometimes to the point of tears, but we don’t let those tears come because we are not supposed to cry. Or how we feel a surge of love for a partner but we don’t say anything because we’re frozen with the fear of what those words might do to the relationship.

Finally got to meetup with my dearest kacheng candice after so long! She suggested dinner at Ambush at Jurong Point! It used to be Billy Bombers before this =) I've passed by Ambush multiple times during my visit to JP but it never cross my mind to eat there.
The soup plus garlic bread! the soup is nice and creamy. The soup is pretty affordable at $3.50
I ordered this bruschetta. I love the salsa toppings on my bread, I have no idea P thinks its nt nice. Ambush is generous with their salsa and yums! Though one can easily make this at home too heh.
P's smoke duck Caesar salad. The smoke duck is really yummy. The previous time I had smoke duck was at Julien Bompard and the duck is so chewy that I couldn't chew through it. The one at ambush is just nice. As I'm no food connoisseur, I'm not sure how a perfect smoke duck is supposed to be like but this is good for me!
Rosti with pork sausage to share! This is yums! It has been eons since I had rosti at Marche and this is as good! The sausage is juicy too! =)
Kacheng's chicken pasta in white sauce. Looks not bad! But I was having trouble struggling with my own food such that I could not try the pasta.
My garlic prawn paella! I realli love paella and its just so difficult to make a perfect paella. The best paella I've had thus far was at the Farmers Market at Loewen's road, El Toro at Penang road and and unknown shop in miami. The one at ambush albeit is not the best, but its good enough! They are really generous with the prawns too!
P's Ambush paella which is essentially seafood paella. Although they are both paella, he said that my paella rice tasted different from his.
We were all too full for dessert after the numerous dishes. I would definitely recommend Ambush for an affordable meal! It cost us $60 in total without any credit card discounts despite the diff types of food we had! Definitely value for money! =)
